Vlepo has moved! The much larger and improved site is now at www.VlepoBlog.com The new site is going to allow me incorporate co-authors much more easily, and its a much cleaner, slicker feel. It’s a huge improvement. I’ll see you there.

Update:8:01 AM After the announcement by Prince Al-Walid bin Talal of his increased stake in Citi, futures have rebounded nicely, and I believe, as I did originally, that we will open higher, or at least move higher rather quickly.
And finally, the position I opened up in Fordham’s Stock Market Challenge:
Below are the rankings, by total return, of the competitors in the Fordham Stock Market Challenge after 1 week.

Here’s a quick update. Unfortuantley, I didn’t update as much as I wanted this innaugural week. I lost some money on Thursday, but today I did pretty well. See below:
6.5% is pretty damn good for a single day, and it erases my losses from yesterday, leaving me up more than 10% for the week. I’m pleased with that. I remain, as you see above, very bearish, but as you can tell from my video commentary above, I’m going to be active next week as I move in and out of the imminent rally. Will update with analysis this Weekend.

Today was a decent day in the market for me. I don’t have much time, so I’m not going to get into the day’s movements, but in short, I made no trades, reflecting the maintenance of my 100% bearish portfolio composition. Here’s how my portfolio started & finished the session, and will begin the day tomorrow.
